We bring this raw, unfiltered, extra virgin olive oil directly from the Peloponnese, from the small villages surrounding the town of Kyparissia. It is the product of our own small lands as well as other neighbouring smallholders. In late November, we harvest the koroneiki olives using traditional, manual methods, then bring them straight to the local olive press, where they are cold-pressed, but go through no other unnecessary processing. Our aim is to bring the oil to Budapest in the most sustainable and direct way. Therefore we support local, small-scale production methods and oversee the oil's whole lifecycle from pressing through packaging and delivery, maintaining personal contact with everyone involved in the process.Juli & Tom -
